The Japanese government has significantly eased immigration restrictions for foreigners. As a result, many foreigners come to Japan. The purpose of foreigners is to buy a large amount of goods cheaply in Japan due to the current depreciation of the Japanese yen.

Visa-free entry has been resumed for 68 countries and territories.

On October 12, the yen exchange rate fell to the 146 yen level against the dollar. It was the first level of yen depreciation in 24 years since 1998.

Many foreigners will continue to come to Japan in search of products that can only be purchased in Japan and products that can be purchased cheaply in Japan.
